Hosta 'Spartacus' features elongated heart-shaped leaves with a series of light ripples along the leaf edges. This sport of 'Sea Gulf Stream' maintains the leaf shape and plant habit of the parent except it has a dark green leaf center and a narrow yellow edge, accentuating the rippled leaf margin. Pale lavender flowers open on arching scapes in late June.
