Broad leaves of heavy substance are a calming shade of blue-green and trimmed by a chartreuse-yellow edge. The lightly wavy margin fades to creamy-white by midsummer and the foliage becomes moderately puckered with age. Pale lavender flowers bloom just above the foliage in midsummer.
